BIT is most sought after yet cost-effective Academic Degree (External) Programme from the University of Colombo School of Computing (USCS) since the year 2000 in Sri Lanka.

Entry Qualifications
Option 1
The candidate should have,
Three passes in the GCE Advanced Level examination in one sitting after 2000 or four passes in the GCE Advanced Level examination in one sitting before 2000
AND
At least six passes for Ordinary Level with three credits including Mathematics and English.
Option 2
The candidate should have;
i. Passed the Theoretical components of the Fundamentals of Information Technology, offered by the UCSC
AND
ii. At least six passes for Ordinary Level with three credits including Mathematics and English.
